Things to know
NDAX-specific notes
CAD-native for CRA reporting
NDAX quotes and settles in CAD, so valuations are already in Canadian dollars. Taxxy applies the Adjusted Cost Base (ACB) method and the 50% inclusion rate for your T1 Schedule 3.
Canadian exchange
As a Canadian exchange, holdings on NDAX are domestic — they generally do not count toward the T1135 CAD 100,000 foreign-property threshold. Taxxy tracks this distinction.
FAQ
Common questions
Is NDAX good for Canadian tax reporting?
Yes. NDAX is CAD-native and Canadian. Taxxy applies ACB and the 50% inclusion rate and generates Schedule 3 figures for your T1.
Do NDAX holdings count toward T1135?
Generally no — NDAX is a Canadian (domestic) exchange, so holdings there are not foreign property for the T1135 CAD 100,000 threshold. Taxxy tracks the distinction between domestic and foreign holdings.
Which API permissions does NDAX need?
Read-only. Never enable trading or withdrawals for a tax import key.
