1. What We Store in Your Browser

Taxxy uses only essential browser storage needed for the application to function. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics.

• Authentication session — our authentication provider (Supabase) keeps your login session in browser storage so you stay signed in.
• Preferences — UI settings such as theme and dismissed notices (e.g., the beta banner) are kept in local/session storage.
• Working data — some pages temporarily cache results (e.g., a calculated tax summary) in session storage to avoid refetching.

2. Managing Storage

You can clear this storage at any time through your browser settings (clear site data). Doing so signs you out and resets local preferences, but does not affect data stored in your account.

3. Consent

Because we only use storage that is strictly necessary to provide the Service, no separate cookie consent is required. If we ever add analytics or non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and ask for consent first.
