Taxy + Model Context Protocol (MCP)
Connect Taxy to your AI assistant
Ask your assistant to prepare a wallet import or explain the information in your Taxy account. Amounts come from Taxy; check them in Taxy before relying on them.
What it can do
Free: prepare wallet imports and CSV imports. Taxy imports CSV and Excel (.xlsx) files in the app; through the assistant, use CSV (assistants can convert Excel to CSV). The assistant returns a link to a pre-filled wallet form, or to a CSV file it holds privately for up to 24 hours; nothing is imported until you check it and press Import in Taxy.
Pro: read your tax summary (calculate the report in Taxy first), positions, tax lots and transactions; point you to your tax report and forms (you calculate or download them in Taxy).
The connector can never change or delete your Taxy data.

Your data and access
After you approve access, information returned to the assistant is handled by its provider under their terms. Remove the Taxy connector in your assistant's settings to disconnect; revoke API keys on the Taxy API Keys page.
