By creating an account or using Taxxy ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Beta Software Disclaimer

Taxxy is currently provided as a free public beta. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. During the beta period:

• Features may change, break, or be removed without notice.
• Calculations may contain errors or be incomplete for your jurisdiction.
• Data may be lost or reset; keep your own copies of imported records.
• No service-level commitment or uptime guarantee applies.

3. Not Tax, Legal, or Financial Advice

Taxxy is an informational tool, not a tax advisor. Reports, calculations, estimates, and generated forms are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice. Tax law varies by jurisdiction and changes frequently. You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of any tax return you file. Always review outputs and consult a qualified tax professional before filing.

4. Your Responsibilities

• Provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.
• Only connect exchange accounts and wallet addresses you are authorized to access. We recommend read-only API keys.
• Verify imported transactions and calculated results before relying on them.
• Do not misuse the Service (e.g., attempt unauthorized access, disrupt the Service, or use it for unlawful purposes).

5. Data Sources and Accuracy

The Service aggregates data from third parties (exchanges, blockchain explorers, market data providers). We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of third-party data, including historical prices and exchange rates used in calculations.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Taxxy and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service — including, without limitation, penalties, interest, or additional tax arising from errors in calculations or generated forms. Because the Service is free during the beta, our total aggregate liability shall not exceed EUR 100.

7. Free Beta; Future Changes

The Service is currently free of charge. We may introduce paid plans in the future; if we do, you will be notified in advance and will be able to export your data regardless of whether you subscribe.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account and data at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the Service.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the application. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
