Things to know
Bitget-specific notes
Passphrase required
Bitget API keys use a passphrase you set at creation, alongside the key and secret. All three are needed to connect.
Copy-trading results
If you use Bitget copy-trading, the resulting trades and PnL appear in your account history. Taxxy imports them like any other futures activity, including funding fees.
FAQ
Common questions
Does Taxxy import Bitget futures and funding fees?
Yes. Spot trades, futures PnL, and funding fees are all imported and classified. Funding is often missed by other tools — Taxxy includes it.
What credentials does Bitget need?
A read-only API key, its secret, and the passphrase you set when creating the key. Never enable trading or withdrawal permissions.
Are copy-trading trades taxable?
Yes — copy-trading produces real trades and PnL in your account, which are taxable events. Taxxy imports and calculates them like any other futures activity.
