Things to know
MEXC-specific notes
30-day history windows (handled automatically)
MEXC's history is returned in roughly 30-day windows. Taxxy paginates through consecutive windows via the API so your full history is imported without manual chunking.
Very deep altcoin listing
MEXC lists a huge number of small-cap tokens. Taxxy prices these using exchange OHLCV where available and its broader price chain otherwise, so obscure altcoins still get accurate cost basis.
FAQ
Common questions
Does MEXC's 30-day limit cause missing data?
No. Taxxy paginates through consecutive 30-day windows via the API to rebuild your complete history automatically.
Does Taxxy price obscure MEXC altcoins?
Yes. Taxxy uses exchange-specific OHLCV where available and falls back through its price chain for tokens without direct data.
Which API permissions does MEXC need?
Read-only. Never enable trading or withdrawal permissions for a tax import key.
